FGCDL FC U12G wins Publix Labor Day CUP

Dayton, September 10, 2018 – Two Dayton Dutch Lions FC players are currently ranked in the USL PDL Top 50 College Prospects. Jackson Dietrich joined Tate Robertson this week after a strong start with Wright State University (3-0-1). DDL’s Harvey Slade was recognized as one of the top young defenders in the league making the Top U20 Defenders list. Houston Dutch Lions FC’s Youth Academy has started up again with an Open House and Super Saturday.  Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC’s 2017 goalkeeper Zeus de la Paz made his debut for Oldham Athletic FC vs Barnsley (1-2) and a few days later he started again vs Newport County (0-1). Michael Hamilton was named a top U20 forward during the 2018PDL season.Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC was awarded 2018 WPSL Best instagram Account with five other clubs. The Academy teams had their first tournament. The U12G won the Publix Labor Day Cup while the U14G and U19G finished 2nd. FC Cincinnati (18-3-6, 60 points) is on a five game winning streak and has a 11 point lead on n2 Pittsburgh Riverhounds (13-4-10, 49 points). They beat the Riverhounds at home last week (2-1) in front of 25,735 fans at Nippert Stadium. This weekend they played rival Louisville City and FCC was leading 1-0 but the game was postponed due to the weather. They now face Louisville tomorrow evening for the remainder of the game. After tomorrow’s game there are six regular season games left. Emmanuel Ledesma is currently leading the team in goals (13) and assists (12).
