RUUD GULLIT

Ruud Gullit, two times voted as FIFA Best Player of the World, was present at the inaugural match of Cincinnati Dutch Lions FCat the Xavier University Soccer Complex on May 9, 2014. Besides performing the kick-off, Ruud Gullit also participated in a “Kick the Crossbar” contest with Cincinnati Bengals kicker Kevin Huber.  The game vs River City Rovers ended in a 3-3 score.

Before the game, Ruud Gullit and CEO Mike Mossel also met for dinner with Greg Berhalter, Robert Maaskant and Mark McCullers of the Columbus Crew, and Jeff Berding, co-founder and currently CEO of FC Cincinnati. 

After the game there was there was also an event downtown Cincinnati with the whole team, ownership, staff, sponsors and guests. The full game and half time event can be seen below.
