OPENING DOC STADIUM - KIDS CLINIC

Dayton Dutch Lions FC invited 2x FIFA Best Player of the World Ruud Gullit to Dayton for a soccer clinic for their Youth Academy players, as well as a series of events related to the official opening of the newly installed turf field at West Carrollton High School Stadium.

Based on the donation of the turf field and press box by Dayton Dutch Lions FC’s majority owner Dr. Suresh Gupta and his company Dayton Outpatient Center (DOC), the West Carrollton School District and Dayton Dutch Lions FC entered into a 30 year partnership making “DOC Stadium” the home of Dayton Dutch Lions FC. The Dayton Dutch Lions FC logo is embroided in all four corners of the field.

Besides the kick-off at the game Dayton Dutch Lions FC vs LA Galaxy II (1-1) on May 10, 2014, with close to 2.000 fans in attendance, Ruud Gullit was also live in a talk show at FOX45 with Mike Mossel, the CEO of Dayton Dutch Lions FC at that time. The whole team and Ruud Gullit were also live on a their tv morning show.

Besides his visit to Dayton, Gullit also did the kick-off of the inaugural game of Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC.
