USL2 CHAMPIONS

On July 13, 2018, the Dayton Dutch Lions FC men’s team won the USL League Two Great Lakes Conference Championship on the road vs sister club Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC after a 4-0 victory.  JJ Williams, who was drafted by MLS side Columbus Crew in 2019, scored three goals.  With the championship the club also qualified for the US Open CUP in the 2019 season. 

The team was led by coaches Dan Griest, Kevin Terrell and Catherine Gordon and had a record 8-3-3 record in 14 games.
