New York Dutch Lions FC is proud to have a women’s team (since 2022). The team competes in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL), currently the highest amateur level of women’s soccer in the USA and the 2nd tier behind NWSL and USL Super S (1st tier).

In the inaugural season in 2022, the team finished last in the WPSL Metropolitan Conference. In the 2023 season they had a huge improvement picking up 3 wins in their last 4 games ending with 10 points in 4th place.  

The New York Dutch Lions FC women’s team consists of some of the best local talents (both club, high school and college) combined with several players from Europe and college players from the US. The team usually consists of approximately 28 players.  The season runs from mid-May until the beginning of July, depending on play-offs. 

There is a player fee associated for joining the team. This will cover all training session (3 to 4 times a week), 8-10 games and 2 sets of NYDL FC gear for the season. In case you need housing there will be an additional fee. The fee structure for the 2024 will be communicated separately after registration.
