SoCal Dutch Lions FC was founded in 2020 and is proud to have a women’s team. The team competes in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL), currently the highest amateur level in the USA and considered the 2nd tier in US Soccer. In 2021, the team won the WPSL Best Franchise of the Year Award in their Conference. 

The SoCal Dutch Lions FC women’s team consists of some of the best local talents (both club, high school and college) combined with several players from Europe and college players from the US. The team usually consists of approximately 28 players with the season running from mid-May until the first week of July, depending on play-offs. There is a player fee associated for joining the team. This will cover all training session (3 to 4 times a week), 8-10 games and 2 setsof Socal Dutch Lions FC gear for the season. In case you need housing there will be an additional fee. The fee structure for the 2024 will be communicated separately after registration.
