DAYTON DUTCH LIONS FC PLAYS FA CUP FINALIST
On July 16, 2013 Dayton Dutch Lions FC hosted Wigan Athletic FC,who just won the FA Cup in England after beating powerhouse and 2012 English Premier Champions Manchester City in the CUP Final. The game was part of their US tour in preperation for their 2013-2014 season. The dramatic game-winning goal came off the foot of Ben Watson in injury time.
On a hot and humid evening Wigan Athletic won 6-1 in front of almost 2.000 fans at Wertz Stadium in Piqua (Ohio).
