Dayton, July 8 2018 – The Florida Gulf Coast Dutch Lions FC Women’s team made some history last night by winning the 2018 Sunshine Conference Championship! They kept n2 FC Surge at 0-0 and based on goal differential (+11 vs +9) they stay ahead of Tampa Bay United as well. The Lions finished the regular season with a 5-1-1 record (16 points) in their second year. They will now travel to Chattanooga next week for the National WPSL play-offs.
