Four former Dutch Lions FC players drafted in 2021 MLS SuperDraft

Four former Dutch Lions FC players were drafted in 2021 MLS SuperDraft – presented by Adidas – yesterday.

Noah Lawrence was drafted by Austin FC as a round three pick. He played for Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC in 2018. The goalkeeper played three years for the University of Cincinnati before transferring to Ohio State University in 2020.

Aimé Mabika was drafted by Inter Miami CF as a first-round pick. He played for Cincinnati Dutch Lions FC in 2018. The 6-foot-6 defender played four years for the University of Kentucky.

Jonas Fjeldberg was drafted by FC Cincinnati as a second-round pick. He played for Dayton Dutch Lions FC in 2019. The attacking midfielder played three years for the University of Dayton.

Kristof Strickler was drafted by Houston Dynamo FC as a second-round pick. He played for Dayton Dutch Lions FC in 2019. The forward played for Virginia Tech University.
